Code Of Conduct To Be Observed By Students
We at MAEER’s MIT Polytechnic, Pune believe in value based quality education. Core of all-round personality is discipline and sense of responsibility and in order to imbibe these values in our students we strictly observe following regulations in the institute
- Behavior: The students of the institute must respect all elders, teachers, staff, guests, and members of the management. The students should stand up during the prayer and when teacher come in the class They should wish them when they meet their teachers in the campus. The students should not loiter in the passage or sit on the vehicles during or after the lectures, they should sit in the library or laboratories during the free time but never in the parking.
- Promptness: All the students should come 10 min before the scheduled time in the class and the respective laboratory. Late comers will be marked absent.
- Regularity: All the students should be regular to their lectures and practical. As per MSBTE directives every student must attend minimun75% of lectures and practical, if they do not attend their term will not be granted and they will not be allowed to appear for examination. All the parents are requested to keep check on their wards’ regular attendance and they should meet the class teacher every 15days and cooperate us to help your son or daughter grow better.
- Dress code: All the students must follow institute dress code on every Monday, Thursday and other prescribed days. All boys should wear navy blue colored trouser and sky blue colored formal shirt with navy blue colored MIT tie and all the girl students should wear plain simple white colored salwar kameez and light pink colored dupatta.[please note for girls short tops and hosiery tights will not be considered as proper uniform while boys should note that blue jeans will not be considered as proper uniform].Another important instruction is no student is allowed to wear three forth jeans, all should wear ankle length dresses and nobody is allowed to wear tight t-shirt.
- Regarding mobile phone and other electronic gadgets: All the students must follow institute dress code on every Monday, Thursday and other prescribed days.
